Golf has emerged as a popular game and although it wasn’t earlier considered to be a game for the common people,
it is increasingly being made available for all. The advancement of technology has made golf equipments more affordable and accessible. People wanting to pursue golf have increased in number and this has led to the increase in need of professional golf trainers. The US houses many golf schools which help the aspirants to pursue the game. The junior golfers are taught the basic techniques of the game.
Certain golf schools have been particularly founded for nurturing the junior golfers. These schools arrange golf training camps for young players throughout the year. Some golf schools also organize golf camps at different places all over the country. Courses and camps vary in their duration and can be for a period of some days, months and even years. 1. The Junior Players Golf Academy- Hilton Head Island
The Academy is located on Hilton Island, South Carolina. The Junior Players Golf Academy offers junior golf schools and junior golf camps for all skill levels. Two programs are offered; a full time junior golf academy with students who enroll as Academic Students or Post Graduates. Academic students attend the Hilton Head Preparatory School while Post Graduates take college courses at USCB or SAT classes. Students are given the chance to work with a golf course every day and also compete in nationally ranked junior golf tournaments on the FCWT junior golf tour. Holiday breaks and summer breaks are utilized for the JPGA Summer and Holiday Junior Golf Camps.
2. Hilton Golf Academy- Phoenix Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort
The Hilton Golf Academy has golf packages designed for the benefit of the aspirants. The schools offer stay and play packages along with commuter schools, private lessons, and corporate outings. The golf academy practice area has a new bunker and a separate chipping and putting green. The Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort offers the additional services. The students can play everyday and there are two, three, and six night all-inclusive packages.
3. Arnold Palmer Golf Academy- Saddlebrook Resort
Saddlebrook Golf Resort is located in Florida countryside and is just 30 minutes north of Tampa’s International Airport. The resort houses the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy, which offers year round clinics suited to the aspirants. They stage many tournaments a year and arrange lessons and group clinics for the students. The package includes accommodation and shared cart and pre booking of tee times for one round per day.
