History
The Seminole Golf Course opened in 1929 and was designed by Donald J. Ross. The course is not widely known because it doesn’t host PGA tour events, celebrity classics or any other tournaments. Seminole is also one of the most exclusive clubs in the world.
Course Design
The course has few trees but many water hazards. The course was made to resemble a Scottish links course and many holes were designed alongside the ocean. The greens are large and fast. The terrain is flat and the greens and tees are elevated and there is a ridge in the center of the course.
